Abide Dance Classes

This is a ballet class specifically for home-schooled ballerinas ages 5-7, with an emphasis on learning the basics of classical ballet, teamwork, listening skills and creativity as well as building a launch pad into the world of dance. The instructor will decide which class is best fit for the student, and current families will be told which class to enroll their student in for the next semester.

This is a ballet class for students ages 8+. In the future students entering this class will have to pass an assessment, but for now all dancers are invited to join this quick paced, masterful class. This is a focused time honing in on increasing musicality, technical excellence, and confidence in ballet. Students will be moving at an intentional pace as they study classical ballet, and ballet terminology. 

Students must wear a pink leotard, pink ballet skirt, pink tights and pink ballet shoes (Amazon list with approved attire will be sent after registration). Students are encouraged to also join contemporary, which starts directly before and uses the grace of ballet with a twist of contemporary movements and storytelling qualities.
